Right now your board ships the way every board should ship. Wrapped to survive the trip, packed so nothing moves, and ready to use when you open it.

It is not, however, a wrapped gift.

What Gift Packing Includes

• The board is nested on quality kraft crinkle paper inside a rigid white gift box and tied with twine, instead of packed in a simple bubble mailer or shipping box.
• A printed note card on heavy card stock, with your personalized message included
• The whole box goes inside a clean outer poly mailer, so the gift box arrives clean and pristine rather than covered in shipping labels and the usual signs of travel
• No invoice, no packing slips, no prices displayed anywhere in the package

Lift the lid and it is done. Nothing to unwrap and re-wrap, nothing to hide before you hand it over.

About the Note

Type your message at checkout and we set it exactly as you wrote it. Same words, same order, same spelling. We do not edit or alter in any way.

It is printed rather than handwritten on purpose. Your words deserve to be read cleanly, and nobody should have to squint at strange handwriting to get through a message that matters. Up to about thirty five words fits comfortably.

How to Send Directly to Your Recipient

Put their address in as the shipping address and add this item to your order. The package arrives with no invoice, no prices, and your card already packed neatly inside. As far as the person opening it is concerned, it came from you, just be sure to sign it.

Questions

Do I need this for the board to look good?
No. Every board leaves here conditioned and carefully packed no matter what. Gift packaging turns it into something celebration-worthy, arriving boxed, with a card, ready for the occasion.

Which boards can I add it to?
The 11 by 14 personalized boards and the 16 by 12 end-grain butcher block. The box is sized for both. For our larger boards, message us before you order and we will tell you what is possible.

Can I add it after I have ordered?
Email us the same day and we will usually catch it. Once a board is packed, it is on its way, so it is better to add it now.

What can the card say?
Anything you want, up to 325 characters. Birthdays, weddings, congratulations, a verse, an inside joke. We have printed all of them.

Is the box reusable?
Yes, and many people keep it as a way to protect their gift from the wear and tear of daily life.

Where does all of this happen?
