Most orders arrive within 3 to 6 business days of shipping anywhere in the lower 48, and you will see an estimated delivery date at checkout. We cut exactly what you type, so give the spelling one more look before you order. If anything is wrong on our end, we remake it and ship the new one free.

Script — Flowing and personal. Best for first names, couples' names, and engraved cutting board wedding gifts.

Monogram — A single ornate initial, framed. Enter your family name and we engrave from it. The most timeless of the three.

No Engraving — The same board, plain. The price is the same because the board is the product; the engraving is included, not extra.

Names can be up to 13 characters, including spaces. Shorter names sit in the corner of the board. Longer names run along the full bottom edge in a smaller size so every letter fits. Want a phrase, a verse, or your own wording laid out? That is a custom board, and our custom shop will quote it.

Your board is engraved exactly as you type it. That includes the second line, so if you want EST. on the board, type it. If you want only a year or only a date, type only that. Please double-check spelling, names, and dates before ordering. What you enter is what we cut.

Gift-ready packaging, $19. Kraft paper around the board, the board into a rigid gift box, a hang tag, and a printed note card with your message set word for word. The whole box ships inside a plain outer mailer so it arrives clean, with no invoice and no prices inside. We print the card rather than write it because a message meant to be read should be easy to read.

Add a note to the back, $25. A short message engraved on the back of the board in a warm handwritten-style script, with an optional heading and date, signed the way you would sign a card. The front says who it's for. The back says what you want them to know, and they read it every time they cook. It cannot be added later. Once a board is engraved and finished, the back is finished too. Want a recipe, someone's handwriting, or a second design on the back instead? That is custom shop work and we will quote it.

How does engraving work?
Choose your engraving style, enter your name and optional date in the fields on this page, and add the board to your cart. Your board is engraved exactly as you enter it and ships in 1 to 2 business days. The product photos show exactly how each style looks, so what you see is what arrives.

Do you add EST. to the date line for me?
No. The second line is engraved exactly as you type it, so it is yours to shape. Type EST. 2026 and that is what goes on the board. Type 10.19.25 and you get the date on its own. Nothing is added and nothing is removed.

How long can the name be?

Can I have the names engraved across the whole board?

Can I order one without engraving?
Yes. Choose No Engraving and leave the engraving field blank. You get the same board, the same hand finish, and the same price, because the board is the product.

Can I add a message to the back?
Yes. Choose Add a Note to the Back when you personalize your board. You get a short heading, an optional date, two lines from you, and your signature, engraved on the back exactly as you type it. It has to be chosen before we build the board.

How long does it take?
Most personalized orders ship within 1 to 2 business days, and most arrive within 3 to 6 business days after that in the lower 48. You will see an estimated delivery date at checkout before you pay. If you have a specific deadline, note it at checkout and we'll do everything we can to meet it.

What's your return policy on personalized orders?
Because each board is made to order, we cannot accept returns on personalized items, including boards engraved with text exactly as it was entered at purchase. Please double-check your spelling and dates before ordering. If there's a defect or an error on our end, we'll make it right, no questions asked.
